As part of Genomics Africa, we have validated microbiome sequencing in different samples of African wild animals.

This include high-throughput application of Illumina and S5Ion 16S microbiome sequencing for many conservation projects. Many of the samples that we have processed at ARC, CPGR, KRISP and SAF were from international funded projects that have chosen to keep the samples in the African continent.
