We have setup 16S protocols for microbiome analysis and pan-viral metagenomic protocols. Furthermore, we have completed hundreds of projects. This include producing microbiome data from vaginal, gut, faeces, tissues and even lymphnodes samples (including human and animals from Zebras to Zebrafish).
We have also pilot two new protocols for viral metagenomics using the Illumina and Oxford Nanopore sequencers . These protocols allow whole viral genomes to be produced and we have already produced whole genomes of HIV-1, HCV, HPV, HBV, Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika. The sequence results from these protocols are easily assembled with our new bioinformatics tool, Genome Detective.
