Photo composition aside, the striking similarity between the two toddlers is testament to the fact that there is no scientific base for race.  DNA reveals that more than 99.9% of our genes are identical and that we are all of African origin. 

A common challenge that all South African fathers share is determining their function.  Currently, South Africa has the 2nd highest rate of father absence in Africa after Namibia.  The role of fatherhood is not simply a biological one and needs urgent attention given this damning statistic.
