Genomics Africa Fellow: Adrienne Amuri Aziza

Adrienne Amuri Aziza is a medical biologist at the Institut National de Recherche Biomédicale (INRB) at the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Adrienne Amuri Aziza came to this fellowship at CERI in Stellenbosch to receive training on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing in order to increase genomics surveillance in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Duration of the fellowship: 2 to 12 November 2021.

Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
