Rosa Maria Neto is a national coordinator of the reference laboratory for HIV, TB and COVID-19 at the Ministry of Health / National Public Health Laboratory in São Tomé and Principe.
Rosa Maria Neto came to this fellowship at CERI in Stellenbosch University to receive training on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing in order to increase genomics surveillance in São Tomé and Principe.
Duration of the fellowship: 2 to 12 November 2021.
Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
