Dr. MThoyba Ahmed is a senior scientist at the Federal Ministry of Health / National Public Health Laboratory in Sudan.
Dr. Thoyba Ahmed came to this fellowship at CERI in Stellenbosch University to receive training on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing in order to increase genomics surveillance in Sudan.
Duration of the fellowship: 2 to 12 November 2021.
Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
