Genomics Africa Fellow: Carolina Argondizo Correia

Carolina Argondizo Correia is a MSc student at University of São Paulo, Medical College, Department of Allergy and Immunology, Brazil.

Carolina Argondizo Correia  came to this fellowship at KRISP in University of KwaZulu-Natal to receive training on sequencing and bioinformatics in order to increase genomics surveillance and basic immunological science in Yellow Fever Virus (YFV) in Brazil.. 

Duration of the fellowship: 3 to 17 September 2022.

Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) and Illumina COVID-seq sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
