GENOMICS AFRICA FELLOW: GODWE CÉLESTIN

Godwe Célestin is a researcher at the Center of Research in Emerging and Re-emerging Diseases in Cameroon.

Godwe Célestin came to this fellowship at KRISP in University of KwaZulu-Natal and CERI at University of Stellenbosch to receive training on SARS-CoV-2, HIV, TB and other pathogen sequencing to enhance the capacity and improve the quality of SARS-COV2 genomic surveillance throughout Cameroon

Duration of the fellowship:  10 April 2023 to 21 April 2023.

Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) and Illumina COVID-seq sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
