Genomics Africa Fellow: Innocent Malolo

Innocent Malolo is a Laboratory Technologist at the Public Health Institute of Malawi.

Innocent Malolo received training on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing in order to increase genomics surveillance at the Public Health Institute of Malawi.

Duration of the fellowship: 11 to 26 September 2021.

Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) and bioinformatics analysis.

Genomics Africa Fellowship: A program of CERI and partners at Stellenbosch and UKZN in collaboration with the Rockefeller Foundation and the Africa Centre for Diseases Control (Africa CDC).
