Mirela Pale is a laboratory technician at the Instituto Nacional de Saude (INS) in Mozambique.
Mirela Pale came to this fellowship at CERI in Stellenbosch University to receive training on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing in order to increase genomics surveillance in Mozambique.

Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
