Genomics Africa Fellow: Dr. Nicholas Bbosa

Dr. Nicholas Bbosa is a Medical Scientist at the Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI).

Dr. Nicholas Bbosa received training on SARS-CoV-2 Illumina sequencing in order to increase genomics surveillance in Uganda.

Duration of the fellowship: 28 August to 5 September 2021.

Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Illumina sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
