Dr. Chizaram Onyeaghala is a Clinician-Scientist at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital in Nigeria, with over ten years of experience in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Vaccinology, and Global Public Health. His research focuses on the clinical epidemiology of emerging infectious diseases like SARS-CoV-2, Lassa fever, mpox, and dengue. He manages High Consequence Infectious Diseases, coordinates a US CDC-funded HIV/AIDS program, and has published over 28 peer-reviewed articles. He is pursuing CERI fellowship training in Genomics and Bioinformatics and aims to pursue a PhD in Global Health.
