GENOMICS AFRICA FELLOW: Dr. Andrew M. Musyoki

Dr. Andrew M. Musyoki is a senior lecturer and researcher at the Department of Microbiological Pathology, Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU), South Africa, with a PhD in Medical Virology. His research includes vaccine-preventable diseases, vaccines, immunization programs, and antimicrobial resistance. He supervises postgraduate research, develops training on vaccination, and is deputy head of the South African Vaccination and Immunisation Centre (SAVIC). He also serves on the national Department of Health’s new vaccine introduction task group.
