Dr. Sabiha Yousuf is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Aga Khan University, Pakistan, with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her research focuses on genomic surveillance of vector-borne pathogens like Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Virus, Dengue, and Chikungunya. Her Ph.D. involved gut microbiota analysis using 16sRNA metagenomics. She has optimized new protocols, performed bioinformatics analysis of NGS data, and studied antimicrobial activity of African medicinal plants.
