GENOMICS AFRICA FELLOW: Gideon Nsubuga

Gideon Nsubuga is a research fellow/biomedical scientist at Makerere University’s College of Health Sciences, specializing in genomics and immunology. With an MSc in Immunology and Clinical Microbiology and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Makerere University, he focuses on host-pathogen interactions and pathogenicity. He has extensive experience in molecular biology, microbiology, and biobanking, and previously served as Quality Manager for H3Africa’s Integrated Biorepository. Gideon will soon begin a PhD in Medical Science at the University of Cambridge, UK.
