Seyni Ndiaye came to this fellowship at KRISP at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and CERI at the University of Stellenbosch to receive training on SARS-CoV-2, HIV, TB and other pathogen sequencing to strengthen their capacity in data analysis to make it available to their team and allow their institute to contribute to the genomic surveillance of pathogens of public health importance.
Duration of the fellowship: 10 April 2023 to 21 April 2023.
Trained received: Hands-on sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) and Illumina COVID-seq sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
